Arts Organization Development Grant

The Arts Organization Development Grant offers up to $10,000 for nonprofit arts organizations in Benton, Sherburne, Stearns, and Wright counties. This funding supports activities that enhance organizational sustainability, growth, and improve access to the arts. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) organizations and arts groups seeking nonprofit status. The grant promotes a vibrant arts community, ensuring diverse artistic expression and fostering collaboration while enhancing the overall quality of life in the region.

Eligibility

Who Can ApplyOrganizations must serve Region 7W residents and be located within the Minnesota counties of Benton, Sherburne, Stearns, or Wright.Nonprofit 501c3 arts organizationsArts groups without nonprofit designation (using a fiscal agent) requesting support for becoming a 501c3 nonprofitAn arts affiliate operating as a distinct arts focused programming hosted within a Region 7W public or nonprofit 501c3.Proposals EligibleActivities and purchases that contribute to organizational sustainability, accessibility, growth and improvement, including staff timeContracted training and other professional development activitiesEquipment purchases of up to $4,999Expenses related to establishing an arts group as a 501(c)(3)
