Arts in Education (AiE) Grants

Funder: Maryland State Arts Council (administered by Carroll County Arts Council)

Geographic Scope: Carroll County, Maryland (public schools)

Purpose: Support bringing Maryland artists and performers into public schools for residencies, workshops, assembly performances, Master Classes, and similar educational arts experiences.

Award Amount: Up to $250 per school

How It Works: One grant per public high school to support arts residencies and performances in schools.

    Application Process:

    1. Download Arts in Education Grant Application form
    2. Complete the application
    3. Submit application (format and submission instructions available on application form)

    Key Steps:

    1. Identify Maryland artist(s) or performer(s) from approved rosters (Maryland State Arts Council, Class Acts Arts, or Arts for Learning Maryland)
    2. Work with school administration to plan residency, workshop, or performance
    3. Complete Arts in Education Grant Application with project details
    4. Submit application to Carroll County Arts Council

    Timeline: No deadline - submit applications as needed throughout the year.

    Note: Applications accepted on ongoing basis with no set deadline.
