Overview
The Arts and Healing Initiative aims to support arts, social service, and health organizations in implementing arts-based wellness programs. This initiative will enhance the healing process and improve the quality of life for individuals and their families in the St. Louis region. With a strong backing from the Arts and Education Council, the initiative continues a legacy of over $100 million in grants aimed at fostering community health through the arts.

Grants will provide funds to arts, social service and/or health organizations to bring in arts-based wellness programs that aid in the healing process and improve the quality of life for individuals and their families.
Eligibility
To be eligible for funding, the organization must meet the following criteria:Be an IRS Section 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
Be in Good Standing with the State of Missouri or Illinois for the duration of the grant period
Proposed program must incorporate healing and well-being with the arts at its core
Operate under a reasonable, board approved budget
Programs must take place in Missouri or Southwestern Illinois
