Arts and Cultural Fund Grant

The Arts and Cultural Fund Grant invites applications from 501(c)3 organizations in Danville-Pittsylvania County for arts events occurring between August 2022 and August 2023. To qualify, applicants must submit a detailed event budget and show that at least 50% of expenses are either self-funded or generated from ticket sales. Note that funding excludes events with restricted attendance, promotional activities, and building costs.

Applicants must submit a proposed event budget, and demonstrate that at least 50% of the budgeted expenses will be raised by the applicant or generated through ticket sales.
Please note: No event will be eligible for funding if the attendance is restricted to an organization’s membership. Additionally, no requests that include the cost of promotional activities, parties, or receptions will be funded. Finally, No requests for building, remodeling, or restoration costs will be funded.

Eligibility

Applicant must be a 501(c)3 organization located in Danville or Pittsylvania County

Ineligibility
