Arts Action Fund - Seed Grant
Overview: The Seed Grant is part of the Arts Action Fund, the first of its kind in Houston. It exists as a catalyst for closing arts access gaps in schools.

Purpose
The main goal of a Seed Grant is to ensure the support of partnership development to increase access for students to experience the arts at their school. For some partnerships, this may start a relationship. For others, the grant will seed a continued relationship. Seed Grants may be for programming at any Houston ISD or Aldine ISD school.- Applicants: Arts & Culture Partners apply on behalf of any Houston ISD or Aldine ISD school
- Partner Requirements: Any active non-profit Arts & Culture Partner may apply. "Active" is defined as completing the Annual Partner Survey and having attended the August 7th in-person Partner Convening
- Partnership: Arts & Culture Partners should coordinate with the school(s) they are applying on behalf of prior to submitting an application
- Application Limits: Organizations may apply for up to twelve (12) grants across Learning, Innovation & Action Grants and Seed Grants for both districts. One application per school, per program
- Award Limits: A single organization may only be approved for up to $12,800 total. A Houston ISD school can receive up to three (3) Seed grants per school year
