Overview
Purpose: Provide project grants to professional artists in any discipline and at any stage in their careers to pursue projects that further their artistic and professional development
Geographic Scope: Regional consortium serving Wilkes, Watauga, Ashe, and Alleghany Counties, North Carolina
Fundable Project Types:
- Creation of new work
- Purchase of equipment and materials
- Professional development workshops
- Travel support for professional opportunities (exhibitions, conferences, etc.)
- Development or upgrading of promotional materials (brochures, DVDs, CDs, websites)
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must currently reside in Wilkes County (for Wilkes County applications)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Cannot be currently enrolled in a degree or certificate program
