Overview

Art Preservation Fund's inaugural grant cycle supports the interventive conservation treatment of art and heritage items held in nonprofit collections across the United States.

There are two tracks. Track A, Treatment & Stabilization, funds up to $25,000 (typically $10,000 to $20,000) for applicants who already have a treatment proposal: conservation treatment, stabilization, documentation, specialized packing and shipping, and limited staff time (up to 10%). Track B, Assessment-to-Treatment Bridge, funds up to $5,000 for a conservator's assessment, treatment plan and condition documentation.

Applications are due October 30, 2026 at 8pm EDT. An online information session is scheduled for October 6 at 2pm EDT, with a recording available afterwards.
