Arizona Transportation Modernization Grants
Overview: A statewide grant program designed to spark transit solutions and support development of transportation options for K-12 public school students, moving beyond traditional yellow school buses.
Background: In July 2021, A for Arizona won a competitive bid through the Arizona Department of Administration to administer this grant program. Governor Doug Ducey advocated for and invested $10 million of federal stimulus monies for public schools, local governments, and other entities.
