Program Purpose:
Enable social workers to connect Arizona veterans with services needed to ensure they can access shelter, housing, healthcare, and veterinary care for their pets.

Problem Being Addressed:
Veterans in the community often face medical expenses and housing requirements that force them to choose between their own needs or staying together with their animals. Despite documented benefits pets provide for the physical and mental health of veterans, this choice should never have to be made.
