Sponsor: Architectural Research Centers Consortium (ARCC)

Overview: The thirteenth annual award (as of 2012) named in honor of Jonathan King, co-founder and first president of ARCC. This award recognizes student excellence in architectural and environmental design research.

Award Structure:

  • One student per ARCC member school

  • Selection at the discretion of individual institutions
  • Eligibility:

  • Students at ARCC member schools

  • Award may be given at either graduate or undergraduate level
  • Selection Criteria:

  • Innovation in architectural and/or environmental design research

  • Integrity in research conduct

  • Scholarship quality

  • Excellence in design research methodology
  • Recurrence: Annual (thirteenth annual as of 2012, indicating ongoing program since approximately 1999)
