APA Journalism Foundation Internship Program
Geographic Scope: Alabama
Overview: Up to eight $1,500 internships awarded each year to support student interns working at Alabama newspapers.
Eligibility
Newspapers:
Students:
- One of eight interns dedicated to developing content on topics of statewide interest for APA content sharing site
- This multi-media intern position supervised by APA staff with assistance from journalism schools and/or retired journalism professionals
- Students required to submit summary of work experience to be distributed to board and possibly published in AlaPressa
