Overview
Up to eight $1,500 journalism internships awarded each year. Host newspapers (in good standing with the Alabama Press Association) apply alongside the student intern; the newspaper pays matching payroll taxes and reimburses business expenses. Students must be junior/senior undergraduates or enrolled in a graduate program. One intern is dedicated to statewide-interest content for the APA content-sharing site.
