AOH National Board Study Abroad Scholarship

Award Amount:

• Primary: $3,000 per year (two annual scholarships available)
• Alternative: $1,500 per semester if full award applications are insufficient

Geographic Scope: United States to Ireland

Program Overview: Scholarship supporting AOH members and their children/grandchildren studying abroad in Ireland

Eligibility:

• AOH member in good standing, OR
• Son or daughter of an AOH member in good standing
• Currently attending an accredited college/university in the United States
• Must have been accepted to an accredited college/university in Ireland
• The Irish institution must be recognized by the home U.S. institution

Selection Process:

• Applications judged by an independent and impartial panel
• Panel decisions are final

1. Obtain Application:
   • Download 2026_AOH_Scholarship_Application_Request_Form from the scholarships page
   • Request from AOH National Chairman
2. Application Requirements:
   • Complete application form
   • Demonstrate current enrollment at accredited U.S. college/university
   • Show acceptance to accredited Irish college/university
   • Verify Irish institution is recognized by home institution
3. Submit Application:
   • Follow instructions on the application form
   • Send to AOH National Chairman
