Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) organizations that align with the foundation's mission, ensuring no discrimination in hiring or service provision.

The Anthony F. Cordeiro Charitable Foundation was incorporated in 2017 with the goal of serving individuals in the communities in southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
The Anthony F. Cordeiro Charitable Foundation provides funding to nonprofit organizations serving communities in Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island whose mission supports and enriches the lives of families and children. The Foundation’s goal is to assist those burdened by life’s challenges by providing access to vital resources including, but not limited to, health and mental health services, food and shelter.

Eligibility

Eligibility GuidelinesEligible applicants include new or existing nonprofit organizations that serve children and families in Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode IslandMust have a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit designation from the IRS or operates under the fiscal sponsorship of a tax-exempt nonprofit (note: applicant is responsible for establishing that relationship BEFORE applying for a grant) Proposed program or project aligns with the Foundation’s missionApplicant does not discriminate in the hiring of staff or the provision of services based on ethnicity, gender or gender identity, religion, sexual orientation, age, disability or national originIf there are two separate programs that align with the Foundation’s mission, you may submit a second application.

We do not fund events, sponsorships, or foundations.Applications may not be submitted if you applied (and were accepted) the previous year.
