Annual Scholarships for TUSD Graduating Seniors

Funder: Tustin Public Schools Foundation (TPSF)

Geographic Scope: Tustin Unified School District (TUSD), California

Purpose: Support graduating TUSD high school seniors as they pursue higher education and college dreams

Eligibility:

Graduating seniors from TUSD high schools

Specific scholarships have school-based restrictions (see below)

Award Types: Multiple named annual scholarships, each with specific focus areas and eligibility criteria

• Founders Scholarship
• Gerry Aust Memorial Patriotic Scholarship - for students with patriotic values and commitment to service
• MSI Scholarship
• Soroptimist Scholarship - for female students only

Tustin High School (THS) Only

• Believe Scholarship
• Centennial Scholarship
• César Altamirano Aquatics Scholarship - for students involved in aquatics
• Cynthia Mazanet Scholarship
• Ian Williamson 'I Will' Memorial Scholarship
• Jordan Burby Memorial MUN Travel Scholarship - for Model United Nations travel
• Resilient Learner Scholarship
• Ryan Watanabe Memorial Scholarship for Scholar Athletes - for academically strong athletes
• Tillers of '82

Foothill High School (FHS) Only

• Doug Shinoda Memorial Scholarship
• Gary Sully Sportsmanship Award - for basketball players

Elementary School Scholarships

• Benson Elementary School Scholarship
• Lambert Elementary School Scholarship
• Orchard Hills School Alumni Scholarship

Application Deadline: March 1, 2026 (next deadline: March 1, 2027)

Tustin Summer Academy scholarships

After-School Sports Scholarships (for students with limited finances)

Philosophy: All students deserve equal access to educational opportunities and experiences; Foundation underwrites various scholarships to ensure students with limited finances can fully participate
