Program Overview
The Annual AED Grant supports organizations within the service area by providing Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) to enhance public safety and emergency preparedness. One AED will be awarded per eligible county.
Eligibility Requirements
- Organization must have a physical location in at least one of the eligible service areas (Boyle, Lincoln, Mercer, Washington, Casey, Marion, or Garrard counties)
- Must possess a valid EIN number
- Must be serving the community within the service area
Selection and Award Process
- Application Deadline: April 1, 2026
- Recipient Announcement: April 30, 2026
- Applications are reviewed by a Foundation committee
- Selected organizations will be notified directly
- One AED device awarded per eligible county

Application Process
1. Determine Eligibility: Verify your organization has a physical location in one of the eligible counties (Boyle, Lincoln, Mercer, Washington, Casey, Marion, or Garrard) and possess a valid EIN number
2. Complete the Application Form: Access the online application form on the Foundation website
3. Submit Required Documents: Include all supporting documentation with application
4. Submit Before Deadline: Complete all applications and required supporting documents via the online application form before April 1 for consideration
