Ann Buchanan Scholarship Fund Grant

The Ann Buchanan Scholarship Fund, established by the Patricia Hart Society of the Women's Initiative at United Way of Williamson County, supports high school graduates in Williamson County facing extraordinary life challenges. This fund aims to provide opportunities for students not in the top 10% of their class, who are pursuing post-secondary education. The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, with over 30 years of experience, ensures that resources are directed to foster a thriving and inclusive community.

The Patricia Hart Society, the Women’s Initiative of United Way of Williamson County, chose to establish the Ann Buchanan Scholarship Fund because of her history in Williamson County and the community-at-large.

Eligibility

Those eligible to apply are students currently graduating from public high school in Williamson County who are not in the top 10% of their class but who have overcome unique or extraordinary life challenge including but not limited to serious or life-threatening illness or injury. Students must be attending an accredited college, vocational or technical school for post-secondary education.

Ineligibility

Renewal will not be available.
