We partner with individual philanthropists and non-profit organizations to provide solutions to today’s challenges, so that together we can work toward our vision of a vibrant, equitable region where communities flourish and everyone thrives. Scholarships The Renton Regional Community Foundation manages a number of scholarship funds and strongly supports your dream to pursue a post-secondary education. In 2025 we awarded $117,950 to 27 students. In 2026, 22 scholarships are provided due to the generosity of Renton Regional Community Foundation fund holders. Andee Jorgensen Scholarship This scholarship honors, in memorium, Andee Jorgensen, a 50-year civic leader in Renton. Students must be a King County resident. This scholarship is not about GPA. It is about demonstrated financial need and will be awarded to students who have demonstrated an ability to manage adversity arising from personal and/or family hardship. Amount: $1,000

High school, undergraduate, and graduate students can apply.ALL applicants must meet the following criteria:Must have earned a high school diploma or GED by the time the award is made (Summer 2026).Must be enrolled by the following school year in a full or part-time program at an accredited two or four-year college, vocational, technical, or trade school.
