Massachusetts AmeriCorps

In Massachusetts, there are approximately 2,000 AmeriCorps members serving at over 500 host sites each year across 31 AmeriCorps programs in various focus areas.

    Administration: The Massachusetts Service Alliance (MSA), the official State Service Commission, administers funding from the Corporation for National and Community Service to AmeriCorps state programs in the Commonwealth. MSA monitors and evaluates the implementation of Massachusetts AmeriCorps state programs.

    AmeriCorps Application Process

    For Organizations Launching NEW Programs:

    1. Submit Concept Proposal
    - Required for all organizations considering launching a NEW AmeriCorps program for the upcoming grant year
    - Deadline: September 7th (for 2024-25 year)
    - Submit via online link provided

    2. Submit Intent to Apply
    - Deadline: August 24th
    - Submit via online form

    3. Attend Technical Assistance Session (Recommended)
    - Sessions held to explain the process and answer questions
    - Example: August 21st at 2 PM (for 2024-25 year)
