Description: AmeriCorps is a federally-supported national network of programs that engages nearly 75,000 Americans each year in service to meet critical needs in education, the environment, public safety, homeland security, and other areas.

Massachusetts AmeriCorps

In Massachusetts, there are approximately 2,000 AmeriCorps members serving at over 500 host sites each year across 31 AmeriCorps programs in various focus areas.

AmeriCorps Funding

In the 2024-2025 service year, Massachusetts AmeriCorps members provided 31,243 hours of service, valued at approximately $1,086,943.

Administration: The Massachusetts Service Alliance (MSA), the official State Service Commission, administers funding from the Corporation for National and Community Service to AmeriCorps state programs in the Commonwealth. MSA monitors and evaluates the implementation of Massachusetts AmeriCorps state programs.
