Mission To encourage and foster the exchange of information and ideas among biomechanists working in different disciplines and fields of application, biological sciences, exercise and sports science, health sciences, ergonomics and human factors, and engineering and applied science, and to facilitate the development of biomechanics as a basic and applied science. Student Travel Student Travel Awards are offered to help students attend the ASB annual meeting. The award consists of a complimentary registration to the Annual Meeting.Eligibility

To be eligible, one must be an ASB student member and must have authored an abstract for presentation at the annual meeting. Abstracts ultimately must be accepted for presentation (podium or poster) at the annual meeting for students to be eligible and funding is contingent upon attendance at the annual meeting.Student Members shall be those College and University students with a demonstrated interest in biomechanics.If more than one application is received by students of the same advisor, only one will be funded.
