American Eagle Foundation Bald Eagle Grants

Overview: Competitive grants program that funds projects to conserve and protect Bald Eagles and other birds of prey.

Funding Source: Established in 2004 through proceeds from the Bald Eagle Commemorative Coin Act, when Congress unanimously passed legislation authorizing the U.S. Mint to create gold, silver, and clad coins.
