About Us The American Association for Anatomy (AAA) is the professional home for more than 2,000 students, teachers, and practitioners of the anatomical sciences. Outstanding Mentor Award Recognizes the dedication and impact of members with a sustained career commitment to mentoring through guiding, supporting, and promoting the training and career development of others. The key roles of a mentor include but are not limited to providing career development and professional guidance for the betterment of the mentee’s career, inspiring positive intellectual and personal growth and development in their mentees, and positive personal and professional role modeling.
