2026 Funding Announcement - Application Process

Key Dates:

Step 1: Submit Letter of Intent (LOI)

Complete the online form with the following required fields:

1. Project Title (Maximum 255 characters)
2. Primary Investigator(s) (Maximum 255 characters)
3. Institution/Company Name (primary affiliation, maximum 255 characters)
4. Contact Information:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Email (required)
- Phone Number (required)
5. Request Funding Amount (not to exceed $150,000)
6. Conflicts of Interest: Indicate if you have known conflicts with ALS Network Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) members (Yes/No)
7. If Yes to #6: Name conflicted individuals
8. Prior ALS Network Funding: Have you previously received an ALS Network Innovation Grant? (Yes/No)
9. Prior Submissions: Have you previously submitted this work for an ALS Network Innovation Grant that was not selected? (Yes/No)
10. Duplicative Funding: Do you have prior funding support for the proposed work? (Yes/No - duplicative funding is prohibited)
11. If Yes to #10: Explain the prior funding support
12. One-Sentence Overall Goal (30 word maximum)
13. One-Sentence Key Innovation/Novelty Description (30 word maximum)
14. Brief Abstract (400 word maximum)
