ALS Network Innovation Grant

Funder: ALS Network, a member of ALS United

Geographic Scope: United States-based applicants only

Focus Areas:

  • Basic, translational, and causal ALS research

  • Innovative technology or methods to solve critical problems in ALS

  • Bold, imaginative projects that lead to advances in the field

  • Applicants are encouraged to leverage existing ALS research resources (e.g., ALL ALS, Project MiNE, Answer ALS, PRO-ACT, NEALS Biorepository, Target ALS Cores)
  • Award Amount: Up to $150,000 per project (including up to 15% indirect costs)

    Eligibility:

  • University, non-profit, or for-profit entities

  • U.S.-based applicants only

  • All types of ideas welcome
  • Recurrence: Multi-year opportunity possible

  • Initial one-year funding

  • Opportunity for second year of funding upon successful review
