Funder: New Mexico Coalition of Community Foundations (coordinated by multiple foundations including Los Alamos Community Foundation)

Geographic Scope: New Mexico

Purpose:
Emergency grants to nonprofit organizations and federally-recognized tribes providing relief to New Mexico communities affected by wildfires (2022 reactivation)

Funding Priorities:

• Organizations providing basic and emergency food and shelter needs
• Organizations providing immediate and increased access to physical, mental, and behavioral health services
• Organizations providing other critical services to affected communities including:
  • Early childhood needs
  • Gas cards
  • Cash assistance
  • Animal accommodations

Eligibility:

• New Mexico nonprofit organizations
• Federally-recognized tribes

• Core operating support for emergency relief
