American Psychological Foundation APF is a grant-making foundation that funds early career psychologists and graduate students using psychology to solve important problems and improve people’s lives. Alice F. Chang Cancer Wellness Grant The Alice F. Chang Cancer Wellness Grant was made possible by the generosity of the Academy for Cancer Wellness, Inc., a non-profit organization established in 1995 by Alice F. Chang, along with John J. Welker and his wife, the late Gertrude Welker. Its purpose is to provide support for cancer patients, as well as for their family and friends.

The grant will be awarded to a graduate student in odd years and an early career psychologist in even years.Applicants from Arizona and New Mexico are encouraged to apply.APF encourages applicants from diverse backgrounds with respect to age, race, color, religion, creed, nationality, ability, sexual orientation, gender, and geography.Applicants must be early career psychologists no more than 10 years post-doctoral.

Ineligibility

APF does not allow institutional indirect/administrative/overhead costs and/or fees to be taken out of grant monies.
