Agricultural Composting Improvement Grant Program (ACIP)

The Agricultural Composting Improvement Grant Program (ACIP) aims to enhance agricultural composting operations by providing funding for equipment and facility upgrades. Eligible projects can receive up to 75% of total costs, capped at $75,000. This initiative supports sustainable practices in farming by improving compost management and facilitating on-farm compost use. The goal of the Agricultural Composting Improvement Program (ACIP) is to help agricultural composters improve the overall management of their agricultural composting operations and facilitate on-farm compost use.
Eligible Projects
Equipment or facility upgrades that meet the goals of the program. Purchase of equipment is limited to new equipment only.
Funding
Maximum funding per applicant is 75% of total project or equipment costs up to a maximum of $75,000.
