Founded in 1897, AGA has grown to include more than 16,000 members from around the globe who are involved in all aspects of the science, practice and advancement of gastroenterology. Fellow Abstract Award This $500 travel award supports recipients who are MD, PhD or equivalent fellows giving abstract-based oral or poster presentations at Digestive Disease Week® (DDW). The top scoring abstract will be designated the Fellow Abstract of the Year and receive a $1,000 award.

Eligibility

You can learn more about this opportunity by visiting the funder's website. Applicants must be the first author of an abstract or the designated speaker of an oral presentation accepted by AGA for presentation at DDW. Applicants must be clinical or postdoctoral fellows with MD, PhD or equivalent degrees at institutions in North America (U.S., Canada and Mexico).AGA Fellow Abstract Award applicants must be active trainee members of AGA and be sponsored by an AGA member in good standing.Applicants may only submit one abstract for consideration. You must be a member of this organization to apply for this award - become a member. AGA Fellow Abstract Award applicants must be active trainee members of AGA.

Ineligibility

Students and medical residents are ineligible for this award.Fellows outside of North America are ineligible for this award.
