AED Placement Program

Overview: The Iowa Heart Foundation awards Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) to increase survival rates for people who experience Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA). SCA strikes more than 350,000 Americans each year — nearly one death every two minutes. Early CPR and AED use nearly doubles the chance of survival.
