Overview:
The Adult Education & Literacy (AEL) program is funded by a grant from the Texas Workforce Commission and provides free classes to eligible individuals. AEL provides opportunities for students to acquire the skills needed to enter the workforce, earn a high school equivalency, enter college, and begin training for a career.

Service Area: Bosque, Falls, Freestone, Hill, Limestone, and McLennan counties in TexasProgram Offerings

Manufacturing Certifications
College and Career Preparation
- At least 16 years old
- Do not have a high school diploma or equivalent, OR
- Need to improve English or basic skills
- Must be legally present in the United States
- Eligible individuals include: U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, asylees, and certain other legally admitted non-citizens
- Eligibility documentation may be required

- Complete all required enrollment forms
2. Attend Orientation
- Orientation sessions held monthly
- Required before starting classes
3. Start Classes
- New classes begin every four weeks
Youth Enrollment Requirements (Ages 16-18)

- All enrollment forms for students 18 years and younger must be signed and dated by parent/guardian in INK
- Students without proper and completed paperwork will NOT be permitted to participate
- Contact AEL for assistance in determining eligibility
