Adele M. Stolder Scholarship

Overview: This scholarship supports Bethany St. Joseph Corporation employees pursuing higher education. The scholarship was established by Mary Ellen Stolder, PhD, RN in memory of her mother, Adele M. Stolder, who was a nursing home resident at Bethany St. Joseph Care Center.

Purpose: To help offset rising tuition costs (which have risen 225% over the past 30 years) so that education is not a barrier to future success.

Award Amount: $1,000 per scholarship

Number of Awards (2026): Three $1,000 scholarships

Eligibility: Must be a Bethany St. Joseph Corporation employee pursuing higher education. Refer to the application for full eligibility details.

History: This is the 7th annual Adele M. Stolder Scholarship (inaugurated in 2020). Since its inception, the scholarship has provided financial assistance to seven Bethany St. Joseph Corporation employees as they further their educational journeys.
