An annual community-wide giving day that connects donors with nonprofits serving Adams County. The Giving Spree provides an opportunity for anyone to meet with and support scores of local nonprofits and includes matching funds to encourage giving.

How Nonprofits Participate in Giving Spree

1. Register with the Event:
   • Nonprofits register to participate in the annual Giving Spree
   • Registration typically opens several months before November event
   • Contact ACCF for registration details
2. Prepare Organization Representation:
   • Assign representative(s) to attend the event
   • Prepare materials explaining mission, goals, and projects
   • Set up display/booth if provided
   • Plan for interactions with donors
3. Event Participation:
   • Representatives attend Giving Spree event at Gettysburg Area Middle School
   • Meet with donors and community members
   • Answer questions about organization's work and impact
   • Collect donations and donor information
   • Participate in piggy bank collection (for designated coins)
4. Donor Participation:
   • Attend in-person event at Gettysburg Area Middle School
   • Receive commemorative Giving Spree Coin ($10 value) upon entry (first 1,000 guests)
   • Meet with nonprofit representatives
   • Make donations throughout the day
