ACNP Honorific Awards - Barbara Fish Memorial Award Grant

The Barbara Fish Memorial Award, presented by the American College of Neuropsychopharmacology (ACNP), honors an ACNP member for exceptional contributions to neuroscience. Named after the esteemed Dr. Barbara Fish, this award recognizes impactful work in understanding the nervous system's diseases. Recipients receive a monetary award and a plaque at the ACNP Annual Meeting, where attendance is mandatory. Nominations are encouraged for women and historically excluded individuals, promoting diversity in neuroscience.

The American College of Neuropsychopharmacology (ACNP) presents the Barbara Fish Memorial Award to an ACNP member who has made an outstanding contribution to basic, translational, or clinical neuroscience. The award is named in honor of Dr. Barbara Fish, a pioneering researcher who was a founding member of ACNP.  Award recipients will receive a monetary award and a plaque to be given at the ACNP Annual Meeting. The award winner must attend the Annual Meeting.

Eligibility

The award is open to all full and emeritus ACNP membersThe nominator must also be an ACNP memberThe selection of the nominee is based on a mature body of work, notable for its impact, innovation, and depth.
You must be a member of this organization to apply for this award - become a member. The College will be accepting applications for new Associate Member, Member, and Member to Fellow promotion in July.

IMPORTANT REMINDER: New Associate Member and Member nominees must have attended a minimum of one ACNP Annual Meeting prior to applying for membership.
