Geographic Scope: 15-state enterprise and Washington, D.C. (AL, CA, DE, DC, FL, GA, LA, MD, MS, MT, NV, NY, PA, TX, UT, WV)

Focus Areas:

• Increase access to oral health care for underserved individuals
• Enable preventive and restorative dental treatments in accessible locations
• Support dental clinics serving underserved communities

Award Information:

• Several million dollars awarded annually through the Access to Care Grants Program
• 2024-2025 cycle: $16.3 million granted to 215 nonprofit organizations

Eligibility:

• Nonprofit organizations
• Dental clinics across the country
• Grant support is by invitation only
• Organizations must be a good fit for Delta Dental Community Care Foundation's mission

Background:
The Delta Dental Community Care Foundation began by providing funding grants to hundreds of clinics for oral health services. Since 2012, the Community Care Foundation has granted more than $170 million. The foundation is committed to building caring, resilient communities by increasing access to oral health care.
