Accelerator Grants for Individuals

Purpose: Reward individuals' continued contributions to their endowment funds with bonus matches that can be applied multiple times.

Geographic Scope: Individuals with designated funds at LLF

Award Amount: $1,000 bonus for each $5,000 gift, up to five times per fund (maximum $5,000 match per fund)

Key Features:

• Multiple bonus matches available—up to 5 times per fund
• Each $5,000 contribution receives a $1,000 bonus
• Maximum total match per fund is $5,000
• Matching funds are genuine investments, not loans, and never need to be repaid
• Matching funds must be used to build the endowment, not spent directly
• Allows donors to grow their legacy over time

Eligibility:

• Must have started a new endowment fund with LLF
• Must provide initial investment of at least $5,000
• Additional gifts of $5,000 or more qualify for accelerator bonus
• Can receive up to 5 bonus matches per fund

• Continued growth of individual designated endowment funds
• Personal legacy expansion initiatives

Application Process

1. Ongoing Contributions
   • Make additional contributions of $5,000 or more to your established endowment fund
   • Notify LLF of contributions
2. LLF Matches Contributions
   • LLF automatically applies $1,000 bonus match for each $5,000 gift
   • Track matches to ensure you don't exceed 5 matches per fund ($5,000 maximum)
3. Growth & Distribution
   • Fund continues to grow with matched contributions
   • Generate annual distributions based on fund size

Contribution Strategy:

• Plan multiple $5,000 contributions over time to maximize the 5 available matches
• Total potential match: up to $5,000 (5 matches × $1,000 each)
• Each $5,000 contribution becomes $6,000 with the match
