Overview
City Thread's AMP grant program helps U.S. cities build safer, more connected mobility networks in 24 to 36 months. The program brings communities together and provides comprehensive technical assistance to accelerate the build-out of mobility networks.

- Transportation & Mobility: Building networks of bike lanes, trails, parks, sidewalks, and open space
- Climate Action: Reducing greenhouse gas emissions through transportation alternatives
- Community Engagement: Authentic engagement and coalition building

- Equitable Access: Ensuring transportation options for all residents regardless of car ownership
What Selected Cities Receive
- A site visit to learn about the city's processes, relationships, and opportunities for change
- An assessment of project delivery, leadership commitments, and community or philanthropic support
- A strategic roadmap to speed up implementation, strengthen partnerships, and grow public support
- An in-person gathering with other AMP cities to connect and share lessons learned

Program Background
Building on the success of The Final Mile, which helped five cities build 335 miles of bike lanes in just two years, the AMP provides a comprehensive roadmap for accelerating mobility network implementation. City Thread combines 50 years of experience in urban planning, marketing, communications, equitable public participation, fundraising, grantmaking, community engagement, strategic planning, and campaign management.

Submission Format & Guidelines:
- Submit as a single PDF file
- Maximum 7 pages (not including letters of support and supporting documents)
- Use 10 pt font with 1.15 line spacing
- Include headings and/or questions before each answer
- Combine administrative information and application narrative into one document
- Attach supporting documents separately
Required Attachments:
- Letters of support from at least three community representatives
- Evidence of $15,000 local cash match commitment
