Geographic Scope: United States with focus on supporting AAPL members and the general public

Mission: The foundation's mission is to promote education for members of AAPL and the general public, and to undertake activities reasonably anticipated to promote the welfare of the foundation.

Funding Focus

Grants awarded by the Educational Foundation are intended to help fund projects and programs that:
• Support the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL)
• Promote education, instruction, and training for AAPL members to improve or develop their capabilities
• Instruct the public on subjects useful to individuals and beneficial to the community
• Further the advancement of education

Annual Funding Available

• Total Annual Grants: Up to $90,000 annually in support of education

What the Foundation Does NOT Fund

• Capital expenditures: Foundation does not favor requests for capital expenditures
• General operations: Ongoing operational costs not eligible
• Multi-year grants: Does not favor multi-year funding requests
• Religiously affiliated organizations: Does not favor requests from religiously affiliated organizations
