AAF Scholarship

Funder: Aspire Arizona Foundation

Geographic Scope: Payson, Arizona (Payson Unified School District and home-schooled students)

Award Amount: Three $5,000 scholarships annually

Program Focus: Support for local high school seniors pursuing higher education after graduation

    Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be a Payson High School senior OR home-schooled senior
  • Must have earned 12 or more general education credits (excluding NAVIT courses) through the Aspire/Gila Community College Dual-Credit Program
  • Must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher in Aspire-sponsored General Education courses (not overall GPA)
  • Must have successfully completed all dual-credit courses taken
  • Must have earned an "A" in at least one dual-credit course
  • Must be enrolling in a college or university in the fall semester after high school graduation

  • Room and board
  • Mandatory course fees
  • Funds are paid directly to the institution by Aspire Arizona Foundation

    Timeline

  • February: Eligible applicants receive applications mailed directly to their home
  • March: Scholarship award selection occurs
  • April: Recipients announced at AAF Scholars Breakfast

How to Apply

Application Process

1. Qualification: Ensure you meet all eligibility requirements (12+ general education credits, 3.0+ GPA in dual-credit courses, "A" in at least one course, successful completion of all courses)
2. Receive Application: Eligible applicants are automatically mailed an application directly to their home in February
