The American Academy of Dermatology Association (AADA) State Advocacy Grant Program provides financial assistance to state dermatology societies to advance their health-policy initiatives, including state lobbying expenses. The Development Advocacy Grant awards three $20,000 grants to state societies that have an advocacy infrastructure and clear goals but lack financial resources (states that have received less than $40,000 or fewer than 10 prior AADA State Advocacy awards, and that meet certain infrastructure criteria). Applicant is a state dermatology society (organization), not an individual member.
