Overview
The A.G. Lyne Award, presented by the Australian Mammal Society, honors the best poster presentation by a student member at the Annual Scientific Meeting. Student members are automatically entered unless they opt out when submitting their conference abstracts. The award celebrates the legacy of Gordon Lyne, a dedicated member and past president of the Society.
NOTE: Student members are automatically entered in the A. G. Lyne Award unless they notify the Society that they do not wish to be considered for the award. This can be done when submitting a conference abstract.
The A.G. Lyne Award celebrates the life of Gordon Lyne (1919–1986), a long-standing member of the Society and past president. The award is given to the best poster presentation by a student member at an Annual Scientific Meeting. The award consists of a certificate and a monetary prize of $300.
