2026 NYS Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) - Open Round

Federal funding for eligible cities, towns, villages, and counties (with populations under 50,000 and counties under 200,000) to assist low- and moderate-income communities. Eligible activities include drinking water and sanitary sewer projects, home repair grants, senior and community center improvements, and small business startup and expansion grants. At least 70% of funds must benefit low- and moderate-income persons. Objectives include supporting activities that benefit LMI families, create job opportunities, prevent/eliminate blight, or address serious and imminent threats to community health or welfare.
