2026 LGE Scholarship Program

Total Awards: Eight (8) scholarships available
Geographic Scope: Georgia - Bartow, Cherokee, Cobb, Floyd, Fulton, Gordon, and Paulding Counties
Target Audience: High school seniors graduating in 2025-2026 school year
Eligibility Requirements
- Be an LGE Community Credit Union member in good standing at time of entry; OR have a parent, grandparent, or legal guardian who is an LGE Community Credit Union member in good standing at time of entry (membership will be verified upon receipt of entry)
- Be a legal resident of the United States residing in the state of Georgia
- Be a high school senior graduating in the 2025-2026 school year from a public high school, private school, or accredited home school in Bartow, Cherokee, Cobb, Floyd, Fulton, Gordon, or Paulding County
- Be enrolling to attend as a full-time student in an accredited college, university, or technical school in the United States during the fall of the 2026-2027 academic year
- NOT eligible: Officers, Directors, Volunteers, Employees, Agents, Successors and Assignments of LGE Community Credit Union and their immediate family members (spouse, mother, father, in-laws, grandmother, grandfather, brother, sister, children and grandchildren)
Judging Criteria
Entries will be judged based on answers to:
1. What was the most impactful lesson you learned from this course?
2. What would winning the LGE Scholarship mean to you?
Award Stipulations
- Awards are non-transferable, with no cash redemptions, equivalents, or substitutions
- Award will be issued directly to the college, university, or technical school on behalf of the recipient upon providing proof of enrollment
- If verification of enrollment is not received, or student does not attend an accredited college, university, or technical school in the United States, funds will be forfeited
- Winner is solely responsible for all federal, state and/or local taxes and any other fees or costs associated with the award
- Winners must respond within fourteen (14) days of notification and claim their award or the award may be forfeited

2. Complete Required Video and Quiz
- Watch the "Money Moves: Mastering Budgeting Before Graduation" video
- Pass the 10-question quiz
3. Complete Scholarship Questionnaire
- Fully complete all fields of the 2026 LGE Scholarship Program Questionnaire
- Answer the following essay questions:
- "What was the most impactful lesson you learned from this course?" (fewer than 300 words)
- "What would winning the LGE Scholarship mean to you?" (fewer than 400 words)
Application Submission Details
- Application Portal: lgeccu.kofetime.com
- One entry per person limit
- No third-party entries permitted
- Multiple entries, false contact information, or use of robotic entry devices will result in disqualification
- Requests submitted by mail, hard copy, email, fax or phone will NOT be considered
- For alternate method of entry: Contact 770-424-0060 no later than 5:00 p.m. ET on Monday, March 23, 2026
Post-Award Process
- Winners will be notified via telephone and/or email
- Must respond within 14 days to claim award
- Winner/parent/guardian must sign and return a release and affidavit of eligibility and publicity via: - DocuSign, or - Email: CassieF@LGEccu.org, or - Direct mail: P.O. Box 1188, Marietta, Georgia 30061, Attn: Cassie Farmer - Scholarship
- Award issued directly to school upon proof of enrollment
- If enrollment verification not received, funds are forfeited
