2026 JRGOS/ Zimmer BioMet Research Grant for Attendings

Funder: J Robert Gladden Orthopaedic Society in partnership with Zimmer BioMet

Geographic Scope: United States

Purpose: Provide funding to Attending orthopaedic surgeons for research projects that support the JRGOS mission of excellence in orthopaedics.

Award Amount: $25,000 to $50,000 grants for Attending Orthopaedic Surgeons

Research Requirements:

  • Research study should be designed so that a measurable outcome is achieved at the end of the grant cycle

  • No indirect costs are allowed as part of this grant

  • JRGOS must be recognized for its support of the work and upon all subsequent occasions when the data is presented

    • Eligible Applicants:

  • Must be a practicing Orthopaedic Surgeon

  • Must be a JRGOS member in good standing for at least two years

  • Must remain a Gladden member for the life of the research

  • Must provide updates every 6 months

    • Application Deadline: August 1, 2026 – October 19, 2026
