Established in 1986, the Westmoreland county coummunity college (WCCC) education foundation, inc. Is dedicated to the mission, vision & values of westmoreland through community awareness, advocacy & financial support for our college and the community we serve. To broaden & extend the educational opportunities for students by awarding scholarships & grants. WCCC education foundation inc., assists WCCC & the advancement of public higher educ. By broadening the base of support, creating awareness & knowledge of WCCC & strongly emphasizing communications with the private donors & public agencies. The foundation utilizes "friend raising," a way to establish sustainable relationships with persons, foundations & corporations to create a wide variety of support for WCCC. Through friend raising, advocacy & fundraising efforts, the foundation sustains the college with financial & personal contributions for educ. Programs for students developed by the WCCC & approved by the board of trustees.
