WAGS RESCUE & REFERRAL IS A SMALL GROUP OF VOLUNTEERS FROM BUCKS COUNTY, PHILADELPHIA AND MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA. THE NON-PROFIT WAS ESTABLISHED TO HELP DOGS AFFECTED BY HURRICANE KATRINA BY PLACING THEM IN LOVING AND SAFE HOMES. ALTHOUGH HURRICANE KATRINA PROMPTED A GROUP OF PEOPLE SUCH AS OURSELVES TO HELP, THERE ARE MANY OTHER NATURAL DISASTERS THAT GIVES WAGS A REASON TO CONTINUE RESCUING AT RISK ANIMALS.
