Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) is a national veterans service organization founded in 1978 and organized as a not-for-profit corporation tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(19) of the Internal Revenue Service Code. The organization is the only national Vietnam veterans organization that is congressionally chartered and exclusively dedicated to Vietnam-era veterans and their families. VVA is headquartered in Silver Spring, Maryland.
