Suny Impact Foundation Inc

The SUNY Impact Foundation's mission is to support SUNY in taking what works to scale to drive student success. The foundation works with philanthropies and private sector partners to leverage investments in student success initiatives that impact access, retention, completion, and career readiness for students across the SUNY system.

The organization focuses on education and higher education support, with primary activities including:

• New York State Tax Credit Program: The organization is authorized by New York State to administer a tax credit program whereby individual taxpayers making authorized contributions may be eligible to claim a New York State tax credit equal to 85% of the donation amount for the tax year after the donation is made. Funds received under this program support various SUNY system-wide initiatives and SUNY schools.

• Support of SUNY Scholarships and Fellowships: Grants and donations are used to make scholarships and fellowships available to SUNY research universities, academic medical centers, liberal arts colleges, community colleges, and colleges of technology.

• Support of SUNY System and Campus Initiatives: Grants and donations from the philanthropic community and corporate partners expand access to academic excellence, service learning, and student well-being through grantmaking across SUNY's diverse institutional types.
