NEVADA GRANTLAB SUPPORTS NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS AND THEIR GOVERNMENT PARTNERS TO ACCESS AND ADMINISTER FEDERAL GRANTS THAT BENEFIT NEVADANS. FEDERAL FUNDING PLAYS A VITAL ROLE IN BUILDING RESILIENT, INCLUSIVE COMMUNITIES AND ECONOMIES THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES, BUT NOT SO MUCH HERE IN NEVADA WHERE WE HAVE HISTORICALLY SECURED AMONG THE LOWEST AMOUNTS OF FEDERAL GRANT FUNDING IN THE COUNTRY, DESPITE HAVING AMONG THE HIGHEST NEEDS. AS A RESULT, LOCAL NONPROFITS AND GOVERNMENT AGENCIES HAVE SO MUCH LESS TO INVEST IN EDUCATION, AFFORDABLE HOUSING, GOOD JOBS, THE ARTS, AND OUR MANY OTHER COMMUNITY NEEDS. THE GOOD NEWS: WE CAN FUNDAMENTALLY IMPROVE NEVADA'S FEDERAL GRANT PERFORMANCE RIGHT HERE AT HOME. WORKING TOGETHER - NONPROFITS, GOVERNMENTS, PHILANTHROPY, BUSINESSES, AND RESIDENTS - WE CAN BUILD OUR CAPACITY AND COMPETITIVENESS FOR FEDERAL GRANTS, AND FINALLY FIX OUTDATED PROCESSES AND UNDERINVESTMENT THAT HOLD US BACK.
