We educate the public by promoting an understanding and awareness of the history of college basketball, promote events focusing on the importance of fans to the game of basketball and provide opportunities for fan education and interaction. (continued on schedule o)we recognize the achievements of players, coaches and teams through the national collegiate basketball hall of fame; promote fitness, nutrition and general health as a means to play or be involved in a basketball program; provide a forum for education programs and interaction among college coaches and players and other charitable groups; and correlate the game of basketball with the general objectives of education.
