Jane & Bernard Reeble Foundation
The Jane & Bernard Reeble Foundation is a Kansas-based private foundation established in 1996 by Jane Hanna Reeble and her late husband, Bernard K. (Barney) Reeble, both native Emporians. Barney Reeble was a successful grocer and businessman who created the foundation to ensure their philanthropic legacy would benefit the Emporia community. Following Bernard's death in 2005, Jane Reeble has continued directing the foundation's work. In 2012, the foundation transferred its assets to the Emporia Community Foundation for administration while maintaining its charitable objectives.
