James D. Raisbeck (September 29, 1936 – August 31, 2021) was an aeronautical engineer, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. He founded Raisbeck Engineering, a Seattle-based company specializing in aircraft modifications. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering from Purdue University in 1961 and received an Honorary Doctorate in Engineering from Purdue in 2005.
